IET Advanced Design Camp Application Opening on September 25, 2023!

Today, in recognition of National Adult Education and Family Literacy Week, the U.S. Department of Education is pleased to announce an upcoming Advanced IET Design Camp training, which is a part of the ADVANCE IET project.

OCTAE has contracted with the American Institutes for Research (AIR) to provide a series of Integrated Education and Training (IET) technical assistance and training opportunities.  The IET Advanced Design Camp builds on the previously offered IET Basic Design Camp and is designed to improve the capacity of states and local programs to develop and grow quality IET programs for adult learners across the country.

State directors and state professional development staff can learn more about this opportunity at the online Advanced Design Camp Information Session on September 25, 2023, 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. ET. Registration is required. Please register here.

During this session, AIR will share an overview of the ADVANCE IET project and provide details about the Advanced Design Camp training and the application process. States will be invited to form teams to apply for one of the Advanced Design Camps which begin in January 2024 and run through April 2024.
