IET Quality Indicators Resource from the ADVANCE IET Project
Today, in recognition of National Adult Education and Family Literacy Week, the U.S. Department of Education’s the ADVANCE Integrated Education and Training (IET) project, under contract with The Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education, is pleased to announce the release of new resources.
The new IET Quality Indicators can be used by states and programs to review existing IET programs and plan new ones, identify priority areas for improvement over time, develop action plans to incorporate best practice strategies and promote shared learning.
Additionally, adult education practitioners can now access case studies designed to provide a contextualized approach for enhancing their understanding of IET. As part of the ADVANCE IET Train-the-Trainer resources, these case studies have been crafted to aid in professional development, offering a comprehensive demonstration of the various phases in designing IET programs. The case studies are available for download and sharing so that educators can incorporate them into their training sessions.
