Hosted Discussion: Bridging Gaps in Adult Education Classrooms Through Digital Literacy Instructional Content

Description:  With technology increasingly changing the way we work, learn, and connect, foundational to advanced digital skills are becoming a prerequisite for full participation in the economy and society. An increased demand for digital skills requires modernization of the classroom and the materials and resources used to advance both digital literacy skills and digital equity. Join Jamie Harris and Rachel Pleasants McDonnel for this hosted discussion where we will explore a crowdsourced list of resources and identify gaps in instructional content for adult education programs through the lens of closing racial inequities and improving digital resilience for adult education learners. Additional guidance on simple ways to make your classroom materials accessible for all learners will also be provided.
