Newly Released Integrated Education and Training (IET) Train-the-Trainer Resources Now Available on LINCS!

The Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education is pleased to announce the release of the Enhancing IET Opportunities for Adults project’s Train-the-Trainer resources. The Enhancing IET Opportunities for Adults technical assistance project supported and assisted states and local adult education staff in planning, designing, implementing, and evaluating effective IET programs that are responsive to state and local labor market demands and fulfill the requirements of WIOA.

The Train-the-Trainer resources are available to use by educators and stakeholders to support their own professional development efforts around IET. Facilitator Guides, PowerPoint presentations, and other resources are available for each phase of the approach to designing IET programs in various formats.

A comprehensive IET Design Camp Training Guide and Participant Guide are available for download, as well as Train-the-Trainer resources. All PDF files are accessible. Microsoft Word and PowerPoint versions of the files are available to download and customize.

Phases may be reviewed sequentially, or staff can navigate to the phase most pertinent to their work. The IET Toolkit includes a self-assessment to help identify areas of the IET Toolkit that can help strengthen efforts, as well as links to customizable, fillable tools that can be used throughout the develop of IET solutions.
