OCTAE Launches Standards-in-Action 2.0 (SIA 2.0) Virtual Trainings: Standards-based Education for English Learners

On April 20th, the first of three virtual SIA 2.0 trainings will begin. A mix of large and small group activities will focus on how to design instruction for English learners that addresses two critical needs: language and academic content development. Each training is made up of five sessions offered over a three-week period. Training #2 begins on June 15th, with the third training kicking off on August 17th.  There is still room for one or two state teams to attend the August training.
