Webinar Title: Raise the Bar: Lead the World

Description: Public education lifts up communities, unites people around student success, strengthens our democracy, grows our economy, and empowers people everywhere to realize their dreams. The U.S. Department of Education is committed to ensuring that all students receive an education that enables them to thrive in school and life.

“Raise the Bar: Lead the World” is the U.S. Department of Education’s call to action to transform education and unite around what truly works – based on decades of experience and research – to advance educational equity and excellence.

This webinar will set the stage for a series of future LINCS universal TA webinars that explore what this initiative means for adult education. Participants will learn what the initiative is, hear about the goals and strategies, and have an opportunity to reflect on what States and local programs can do to help raise the bar.
