Teaching Skills That Matter (TSTM) Application Open Now!
Teaching Skills That Matter in Adult Education (TSTM) is returning to the field in 2024–25, and we are pleased to announce that the application for a new training cohort is now open. TSTM offers adult educators a powerful set of tools and training to support learners in developing 9 skills that matter in our adult lives, across critical topics, through engaging instructional approaches.
TSTM trains state teams of four teachers plus a state professional leader in a multistate cohort model. The cohort experience includes in-person and virtual training, as well as one-to-one coaching for teacher participants, spanning approximately 6 months. All states—new and returning TSTM states alike—are invited and encouraged to apply now for the next TSTM cohort, set to begin this winter! Please note that only a state director or their representative can submit an application on behalf of their state, via the TSTM Training Application form.
