Newly Released Integrated Education and Training (IET) Toolkit Now Available on LINCS!
IMPAQ International, LLC, under contract with The Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education, are pleased to announce the initial release of the Enhancing IET Opportunities for Adults project’s Integrated Education and Training (IET) Toolkit. The Enhancing IET Opportunities for Adults technical assistance project supports and assists state and local adult education staff in planning, designing, implementing, and evaluating effective IET programs that are responsive to state and local labor market demands and fulfill the requirements of WIOA.
The IET Toolkit is now available through the LINCS Resource Collection here: https://lincs.ed.gov/professional-development/resource-collections/profile-8850.
The IET Toolkit guides state and local adult education staff through a team-based approach to developing customized IET solutions that address the needs of adult learners and local businesses. The approach is broken out into four iterative phases:
- Research and Assess
- Design and Plan
- Develop and Implement
- Evaluate and Improve
The phases may be reviewed sequentially, or staff can navigate to the phase most pertinent to their work. The IET Toolkit includes a self-assessment to help identify areas of the IET Toolkit that can help strengthen efforts, as well as links to customizable, fillable tools that can be used throughout the develop of IET solutions.
The final release of the IET Toolkit is expected via online platform and updated PDF by Summer 2022.
